Crown-Hill University (CHU) was licensed 22nd November, 2016 as the number Sixty-Six (66) private University “upon fulfilment of all requirements laid down in Education Act (National Minimum Standards and Establishment of Institutions), Cap E3 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 for the establishment of Private University”.

It was established to develop internationally acceptable and teachable curricula for academic programmes with appropriate benchmark objectives and to ensure that knowledge impartation proceeds in an environment serene enough for academic excellence.

The University has successfully gone through Governance Process Accreditation by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2020 leading to the issuance of its full operational license. Also, in 2022, the University successfully had its 13 Programmes pass through the NUC Programmes Accreditation.

With these hurdles crossed, Crown-Hill University is ready to forge ahead to provide world-class facilities to ensure that graduates who hold Crown-Hill University professional and academic diplomas, bachelor and higher degrees rank among the best in the world.
